คุณคม สุววรณพิมล จัดได้ว่าเป็นผู้มีประสบการณ์ในด้านการเป็นที่ปรึกษาด้านการบริหารและผู้ฝึกอบรมในด้านการพัฒนาตนเอง ซึ่งคุณคมได้เคยให้การอบรมในองค์กรต่างๆเป็นจำนวนมาก ทั้งในหัวข้อด้านการบริหารให้กับระดับบริหารและหัวหน้างานต่างๆ รวมถึงหัวข้อด้านการพัฒนาตนเองของพนักงานและเจ้าหน้าที่ทุกระดับ โดยเฉพาะหลักสูตรด้านการพัฒนาตนเอง คุณคม ได้เป็นผู้ริเริ่มและร่วมพัฒนาหลักสูตร Coach! For Goal ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรในด้านการพัฒนาตนเองที่ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างสูง และในปัจจุบันคุณคมยังเป็น Master Trainer of Coach! For Goal
ในปัจจุบันคุณคม ดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันพัฒนาบุคลากร Coach! For Goal โดยก่อนที่คุณคมจะดำรงตำแหน่งปัจจุบัน คุณคมได้ผ่านประสบการณ์และความสำเร็จด้านการบริหาร และที่ปรึกษามามากกว่า 10 ปี โดยเฉพาะธุรกิจด้านการเงิน ซึ่งพิจารณาได้จากการความก้าวหน้าอย่างรวดเร็วด้านการทำงาน โดยตำแหน่งสุดท้ายในสายงานด้านธุรกิจการเงินคือ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่าย(Vice President) ของศูนย์ซื้อขายหลักทรัพย์กรุงเทพ(Bangkok Stock Dealing Center) ซึ่งเป็นตลาดหลักทรัพย์สำหรับธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (โดยในปัจจุบันนี้คือ ตลาด MAI-Market for Alternative Investment ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การดูแลของตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย) โดยก่อนหน้านี้คุณคมได้เคยมีประสบการณ์ในด้านต่างๆของธุรกิจหลักทรัพย์และยังเคยร่วมงานกับบริษัท ปูนซิเมนต์ไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ด้วยประสบการณ์ที่หลากหลาย ทำให้คุณคมได้เรียนรู้ภาพรวมและกลยุทธ์ด้านธุรกิจอย่างครบวงจร แต่ที่สำคัญคุณคมได้ให้ความสนใจเป็นพิเศษในด้านการพัฒนาศักยภาพของบุคลากร และคิดค้นหาแนวทางที่ให้บุคลากรภายในองค์กรให้สามารถพัฒนาตนเองได้อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ นอกเหนือจากนี้คุณคม ยังได้มีประสบกาณ์ด้านที่ปรึกษาธุรกิจทั้งในด้าน การตลาด การขาย การเงิน ในองค์กรขนาดใหญ่ต่างๆ เช่น LG Electric (Korea), Shellhut Co.,Ltd ,SME bank and SME Development Institution รวมถึงการที่คุณคม ยังได้ทำงานเป็นที่ปรึกษาด้านการพัฒนาธุรกิจ(Business Development Consultant) เพื่อจัดตั้งศูนย์ข้อมูลอสังหาริมทรัพย์แห่งชาติ (The National Real Estate Information Center- NREIC) ซึ่งเป็นโครงการร่วมกันระหว่าง ธนาคารโลก(World Bank) กระทรวงการคลัง และธนาคารอาคารสงเคราะห์
คุณคม จบการศึกษาด้านบัญชีบัณฑิต(เกียรตินิยม)จากมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และได้ศึกษาเพิ่มในระดับ MBA จากมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ รวมทั้งCertified Investment and Securities Analyst (ซึ่งเทียบเท่าปริญญาโทด้านการเงิน) จาก Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), U.S.A.. นอกจากนี้คุณคมยังได้ศึกษาความรู้เพิ่มเติมในด้านต่างๆจากหน่วยงานอื่นอีกเป็นจำนวนมาก
นอกจากนี้คุณคมยังได้มีส่วนร่วมในองค์การทางสังคม โดยคุณคมได้ดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้ไกล่เกลี่ยขึ้นทะเบียน ของสำนักงานไกล่เกลี่ย กระทรวงยุติธรรม และยังเคยทำงานในคณะทำงานอีกหลายคณะของสมาคมเงินทุนและหลักทรัพย์ ด้านผลงานด้านวิชาการ คุณคมยังได้แต่งหนังสือด้านการพัฒนาตนเองอีกหลายเล่ม เช่น Coach! For Goal : กลยุทธ์พลิกชีวิต Smart Image for Success : เปลี่ยนบุคลิกพิชิตความสำเร็จ และ The Life : ชีวิตง่ายๆสบายดี และ Coach! For Sales นอกจากนี้ผลงานด้านหนังสือแล้วคุณคมยังเป็นคอลัมนิสของหนังสือ และนิตยสารหลายฉบับ
ด้วยประสบการณ์ทางด้านธุรกิจและความสนใจด้านการพัฒนาศักยภาพของบุคลากร คุณคมได้พัฒนาโครงการ Coach! An experienced trainer and consultant in fields of management and Self Development, Kom Suwanpimon has trained and consulted for a variety of established business organizations with his popular topics including managerial skills for managers and supervisors, negotiation skills as well as self development program.
In present he is a director of Coach! For Goal Human Development Institute. Before joining AIM, he has had significant managerial experience of over 10 years within the business consulting and financial industry. This is evident by his accelerated advancement from Manager to his last position as Vice President with the financial institute, Bangkok Stock Dealing Center: Stock Exchange for Small and Medium Enterprises, at present it is MAI ,Market for Alternative Investment in Stock Exchange of Thailand. where his responsibilities included the organization’s overall strategic direction. Afterwards he has had experience in business consulting, identifying marketing and sales planning, financial planning and training course design such as LG Electric (Korea), Shellhut Co.,Ltd ,SME bank and SME Development Institution and Director of EBCI Knowledge Center. Prior to his work at AIM, Khun Kom spent many years in business development consultant of The National Real Estate Information Center- NREIC, Project of World Bank, Ministry of Finance and The Government Housing Bank
Khun Kom received his Bachelor of Accounting (Honor) degree from Thammasat University. He furthered his studies MBA in Kasetsart and Certified Investment and Securities Analyst (Equivalent Master in Finance) in Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), U.S.A.. He then decided to supplement his technical training with business knowledge by attending an executive program in many organizations
A person of many capabilities, Khun Kom is socially active as the Registered Mediator of Ministry of Justice, Member of Committee in Mediator Association of Thailand and Compliance Unit of Securities Companies Committee in Association of Securities Companies. He was also a columnist of Prachachat Turakit,Siam Turakij, Do You Know (Self Development Magazine) and the author of self development books ; “Coach! For Goal” , “Smart Image for Success” , “The Life” and “Coach! For Sales; Developing Sales Talent”.
